SANDY'S COMMUNICATIONS takes your electronic privacy & personal information seriously. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of privacy protection online. We will never sell your personal information to anyone, for any reason, period. We will not share your personal information with anyone, unless you specifically authorize us to do so, and you will always have the opportunity to discontinue (or opt-out of) these services, no questions asked.

Below are some of the reasons you should be concerned about your online privacy, and more specifically, how SANDY'S COMMUNICATIONS collects and uses information that we request from you and/or track about you.

The Internet is a powerful tool for gathering and collating information about people - that is, personal information about you that can be used to send you targeted marketing and advertising email, and is potentially available to thousands of people who may have no business knowing these things about you.

Here's how it works. At the simplest level, Web users provide certain personal information every time they register at a Web site, or take part in a contest or sweepstakes, or make a purchase online. On a more sophisticated level, computers can monitor which sites users visit, which pages they view, and on which ads they click. Even messages in chat rooms can provide marketers with personal information about people.

This information lives - for all intents and purposes, forever - in databases that are sometimes sold and shared among marketers, advertisers, and others. Although there are myriad laws and regulations in place that limit how people and companies can use personal information about you, it is still quite important that you take responsibility for what information you give away, and to whom. Always inspect the Privacy Policy of any website you provide your personal information to, and do not submit your information to any website that has privacy practices you may find objectionable.

That said, below is an explanation of the information SANDY'S COMMUNICATIONS may collect about you, what we do with it, and how you can control our use of it.

There are two kinds of information you need to be aware of:

Aggregate Information: Aggregated information is anonymous data that Web sites use to diagnose problems on the sites' servers, administer the sites, and to help improve the quality of the Web pages. It may be your domain name (i.e. "") or your IP address. None of this identifies who you are in any way by itself, and is used primarily to improve the functionality and user-friendliness of this website.

Personally Identifiable Information: This is the kind of information that should be of the greatest concern. Anytime you type in your name or email address or your snailmail address with your age, occupation, income, and interests, for example, you are giving away personally identifiable information. Some of this is often necessary, as when you order products online or sign up with an ISP or send an inquiry to a Web site. But when it is not applicable to what you want from a Web site, you should consider whether you want to answer these kinds of questions.

When a user visits this site, his or her IP address, browser type [Netscape or Internet Explorer, for example], and a domain [i.e. ""] are collected in the background. This information is used in the aggregate to help diagnose problems with our servers, to administer the Web site, and to gather broad demographic information about the users of our website. None of it is personally identifiable information, and is only used for the purposes listed above.

We use "cookies", in conjunction with 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) to provide a secure connection to our website when you login with your username and password. Additionally, we use cookies in order to determine which portions of our catalog can be shown to you, as Motorola restricts the sale of certain products to certain geographical areas.

We do not sell personally identifiable information about individual users whatsoever. We do not share personally identifiable information without the express prior approval of the user at the time of collection of the information. At that point, the user has the opportunity to indicate whether he or she would like to "opt out" of receiving promotional and/or marketing information about products, services, and offerings from SANDY'S COMMUNICATIONS and/or any third parties.

On every page of our site, there is a link to a "contact us" form for users of the Web site to comment, complain, make suggestions, and ask questions. Full name and email address may be required on this form so that we may respond in a timely manner. This information is not sold or shared with any third parties, and is not used for any purpose beyond answering the correspondence.

We gives users the following options for removing or modifying their personal information from our databases:

Although it is not always possible to remove or modify information in the databases, SANDY'S COMMUNICATIONS makes its best effort to do so and will notify you in writing when we are unable to comply with your requests.

As hackers have proven worldwide, no computer security system is entirely foolproof. The most any Web site can do is make its best effort, which is what we do here at SANDY'S COMMUNICATIONS to protect your information from loss, misuse, and alteration. If your information is compromised by unauthorized users, we will make every attempt to limit further access by those users, and we will notify you in writing of any breach to your personally identifiable information.

If you have any questions about this privacy policy statement, please contact the Privacy Coordinator.
